The Creator Award provides $10,000 in unrestricted funding to individual artists across South Florida, offering flexible support that reflects the realities of sustaining a creative practice. By remaining unrestricted, the awards remove common barriers and allow artists to allocate resources where they are most needed.

Apply from June 1st to July 31st for our 2027 Oolite Arts Home + Away Residency Program. The Oolite Arts Home + Away program is a series of multi-week paid artist residency opportunities hosted at some of the most prestigious institutions worldwide. In addition to dedicated studio hours for individual artistic practice, Oolite Arts emphasizes the importance of building community with fellow artists, recognizing that this collaboration is essential for advancing artistic careers.

This year Home + Away is a multi-week Oolite Arts partnership with: 

• The Bag Factory in Newtown, Johannesburg, South Africa, three months
• Artpace San Antonio in Texas, five weeks
• MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts, four weeks

Apply from June 1st to July 31st for our 2027 Oolite Arts Studio Residency Program. The Oolite Arts Studio Residency Program provides artists with the time, space, resources, and community needed to advance their practices and reach new levels of excellence. Studio Residents receive free studio space for one year at Oolite Arts’ Miami Beach headquarters, along with access to critical connections with art leaders, exhibition opportunities, professional development, and financial resources that can open pathways to career-changing opportunities.
